Amazing Transformation
Perfect example is in this West Chester, PA Kitchen remodel project. Its amazing the transformation small details can make in a kitchen remodel. The footprint stayed the same and the cabinets we chose were white again. But WOW, that transformation that follows proved it’s the details that make the difference.
Wellborn Cabinets
We chose Wellborn Cabinetry’s Select line for their quality, price point, and slightly detailed Bishop door. The Bishop door style has a slight edge profiling that gives a very high end feel to an overall budget friendly style! Wellborn’s MDF door style is great for a kitchen on a budget looking for a quality finish. MDF stands for Medium Density Fiberboard and is an extremely cost effective material. However if the cost alone doesn’t convince you that MDF is the way to go, the lack of seaming will! Because the MDF door is routed out of a solid piece of MDF there will never be any joint seams. Traditional painted doors join solid wood (maple, oak, cherry, etc) together and as the wood breathes overtime the seams can become more visible….but not with MDF!
Crown Molding Makes A Difference
Taking the cabinetry from short 30″ uppers to elegant 39″ uppers both elevated the design and storage space of this efficient kitchen. Crown Molding also helped to transform this kitchen. Taking the crown molding to the ceiling, using a “two piece crown” make the kitchen feel more open and much higher end that the builder grade cabinets before.
Creative Space Utilization
We added a second row of 12″ deep cabinets to the back of the island to increase storage space, counter-top size, and the effect is just what the client was aiming to achieve.
Soapstone Counter-tops Top It All Off in this West Chester, PA Kitchen remodel project.
Soapstone counter-tops finish off the space beautifully. Stone Master’s selection made it easy to find just the right slab of Classic Soapstone to tie all the elements together. Who would have believed that keeping white cabinets and the same footprint would have such an impact?!
