Kitchen Remodel-Hockessin, DE
From concept ….to end design, this kitchen remodel was one of a kind! Love seeing the evolution throughout the process.
The Featured Design Element
The hood in the project was a last minute decision…that worked out beautifully. It was unfortunate when the client’s original vision of a copper hood was out of the budget. However it allowed room in the budget for the total gut all the pre-existing soffit and floor to ceiling cabinetry!
Approximate Costs For This Kitchen Remodel
This project came in at about $45,000, the customer self demoed, sourced lighting, and hardware. So, we outfitted the space with beautiful and cost effective Waypoint cabinetry. More information about the Waypoint line is on our Stock Cabinet page
Circulation issues were experienced in the previous kitchen so venting the hood outside was essential. We featured a mixing stand for baking cookies in the island. Pull out shelves were engineered into the pantry to maximize storage. We created custom cubicles to hold the kid’s back-packs. Glass doors highlighted heirloom plates glasses and serve ware. Incorporated into the design are Two different tray cabinets at the cook-top area. The homeowner anticipated Keurig storage into the design of the wine/coffee beverage station.
