One of our favorite basement renovations to date! This basement bar was designed with entertainment for all in mind. The bar itself was certainly the focal point that tied everything the in space together.
Cabinetry & Design
We specifically selected Waypoint cabinetry in the 650F door style and Cherry Spice finish to match the client’s existing pool table. The match in person, was perfect! Often, the challenges of a basement are unique. In this case, the challenge was the HVAC soffit. Incorporating the soffit into the cabinetry design was the solution. This decision was a great way to make it feel more like a finished space. Corbels were then selected with both the aesthetic and function of countertop support in mind for this space….one of the many reasons it pays to work with one company for your remodeling needs!
Countertops
The client initially envisioned soapstone for this space, but once they saw the Uba Tuba Leathered Granite the decision was easy! We used the Uba Tuba Leathered because it does a great job of adding both texture and dimension to the space.
The Black Cat
The bar pays homage to the client’s beloved cat, Figgy who became like family to us through the process. Hope the Black Cat Bar is enjoyed for years to come!
