How do I clean my stone countertop?

Cleaning natural or engineered stone is best done using warm water and a soft cloth. Very small amounts of soap can be used if desired. Soap should not be used in excess because we have seen cases of liquid soap staining very porous surfaces. It is recommended to NOT use any abrasive cleaners or abrasive scrub pads. Various chemicals used in many everyday cleansers can be harmful to the look and performance of your stone countertop. Some chemicals can hinder sealer effectiveness, put on a haze, or even cause the gloss to appear dull or inconsistent.
