Engineering a great seam isn’t quite as simple as pushing two pieces together. A lot of care goes into the fabrication of the sides to get a tight and lasting fit. First we triple mill the top area smooth to aid in the bonding.
Next the surface is highly textured to provide maximum area for the two sides to bond together. Finally, grooves are created to form pockets that create a chemical biscuit, much like a wood biscuit, adding additional strength. Â
