Stones I would recommend for inspiration:

Soapstone- There is a sense of history when you look at Soapstone with its structure and inspiring veins that soften its appeal to many people when creating their kitchen. This stone was and still is used for fire places, and can still be seen when visiting the historical homes like in Colonial Williamsburg. Soapstone pairs flawlessly with many granite as it captures the black, charcoal, and green undertones,

Bordeaux’s- The color schemes that can be found in the Typhoon, Nettuno and Crema Bordeaux’s that we have in stock pull in the classic Colonial tones. Although the overall texture is more neutral, the movement ranges from subtle hints to bold veining of Cranberry, Windsor green, and Olde Pewter.

Colonial’s- A marbling to undefined texture is drawn from the Colonial Gold and Colonial Cream granite. The Colonial Gold stone appears to have less aggressive veins that you might find in others but yet keeps you intrigued. Colonial Cream on the other has more of a sporadic texture without a defining direction. The soft creams to honey tones are complimented with small hints of cranberry and ginger.
