Typhoon Bordeaux granite comes from Brazil.

Typhoon Bordeaux is one of the most dynamic stone species and it rarely look the same from one block to the next. The movement and colors vary and are beautifully swirled together to create a stunning and exotic stone that goes with almost any color cabinet due to its wide variety of colors though out the stone.

This stone has rich creams, translucent quartz chunks, black veins, burgundy waves, caramel browns can even be found is some slabs. Additionally there are many interesting inclusions which vary and are never the same twice.

When big blocks are sliced into slabs they are kept in sequential order. This allows the slabs to be book-matched. Adjoining slabs are virtually identical. The slabs start to vary the further away they get from the reference point.

This stone has fissures and is beautifully resin treated and polished. Typically this stone also has a resin and mesh backing to increase its structural strength. The high quality resin finish gives this stone a SR-5 rating, making it very stain resistant. click the link to learn more about our SR rating here at Stone Masters Inc.

Our on-line videos of granite slabs are designed to help you decide upon a species not necessarily the exact slab. There is no substitute to seeing slabs in person and we would never recommend selecting your counter-top from a small sample, photo or video of a slab.

With that being said here is a video of Typhoon Bordeaux Granite. All of Stone Masters inventory is in video form and can be seen here, Slab Videos.
