Statement piece: The design of the space is created around the movement and color palette of the stone.
Stone Wood:
Characteristics of this stone are spectacular from the subtle movement to the warmth of the ginger and dark chocolate tones. The texture of the stone is reminiscent to a piece a wood that has been plain sliced generating a variant grain what a cathedral appearance. It reminds you of standing looking over a log cut in half and counting the rings to see the age of the tree. I believe it would look brilliant with a painted cabinet to create the opposite of the typical wood cabinets and colored counter.
Golden Lighting:
The cool blue and green tones of this stone are invigorating and fresh, yet still have warm brown hints in the base. Strikes of moss green lightning appear in the stone and are softened with chocolate brown veins. The undertone of the stone is a blue and teal texture that would look wonderful with a white apron farm sink. From painted white cabinets to warm espresso cabinets this stone is a chameleon to many styles.
Blue Eyes:
As memorable as Frank Sinatra’s “Blue Eye” this stone will stay close to your heart. With a predominate ivory and steel gray background black texture seems to come through in areas to add movement. As you stand look at the background you are then overcome with iridescent blue patches that dance with your eyes. It’s a stone that stays with you and has you wonder how the blue comes alive.
