Stain Free 15 Year Warranty $349 with new counter-top purchase.

Have your existing granite counters re-sealed with DuPont Stone Tech high quality sealer for $249 and no warranty against stains. Or for $449 get a 15 year warranty against stains by having your counter-tops sealed with DuPont's Advanced Protection Plus which does come with a 15-Year stain protection warranty. Read this technical Bulletin regarding stains vs etching.

With either product the application is the same, however the material used and the warranty is different.

First our technician will thoroughly clean your counters with Acetone. Then he will then apply Dupont's Stone Tech penetrating sealer and allow it to penetrate into the stone for 15 minutes prior to removing the excess. He will then wait and re-apply a 2nd coat which will again be allowed to penetrate for another 10 minutes prior to removing the excess and buffing your counter top.

Ventilation is required, remove all items from your counters prior to our technicians arrival and keep children and pets away.

Prior to ordering this service you should remove any stains that you wouldn't want "sealed in". Stone Tech Sealer will offer you maximum protection and make your counters maximum stain resistant, but not stain proof, nor covered with a warranty. It will protect against most stains. With the 15-Year Advanced protection you are covered for stains for 15 years.

You know your counters need to be periodically re-sealed, but life is just too busy and it is easy to put it off. Allowing professionals to come into your home and re-seal your counters has some advantages over doing it your self. Here are 3 reasons why you should seal your stone:

  1. Stone Masters uses professional impregnating sealer which is not sold to the public.
  2. Our trained technicians are familiar with all types of stones and know how to apply it to get the maximum protection.
  3. It's cheap insurance! When you consider the cost of your granite counter-tops and the value of protecting them, a weak sealer is a waste of time and money.

Here is a quick test. Place a drop of water on your counter, if the stone darkens, water is penetrating the surface. If water can penetrate so can water borne contaminates. That is how you get stains!
