Countertop For Bar
When starting to shop for a countertop for a bar many people come and start looking at slabs. Frequently the bar project is small and would only use one quarter of a whole slab.
Remnants offer a more cost effective option for that size project. There are hundreds to choose from but since they all vary in size dramatically you really need to know the sizes of each piece required (Sketch) or you really can even begin to look.

Since many pieces are grained and have distinct veining and direction to each piece they really ought to be installed with the grain all going in one direction. To that end again we would refer to a sketch so that the various sizes required will all work together to create a beautiful project as opposed to one that looks like it was thrown together from various random pieces.
When looking for countertop for bar, remember that most fabricators have a minimum job size to justify cutting from a slab while all fabricators will have remnants for those smaller jobs that are more cost effective than paying for a minimum job size that may still be too big for your project.
